The next six (6) week schedule of classes begins April 5 and ends May 13. All class 1 ½ hrs meets once per week unless otherwise noted.

Beginners Sewing – learn from the ground up. Basic operation of the sewing machine, understanding and reading the pattern envelope and pattern, proper cutting techniques. Cut and sew a basic skirt. Great refresher for those that have not been sewing for some time. Mondays at 10 am or 6:30 pm

Advanced Beginner/Intermediate - Select an easy pattern to cut sew and improve your skills. Some sewing experience but still need to build confidence and skills. Another good refresher. Tuesday at 10 am or 6:30 pm

Islander Sewing Systems – This course follows the textbook required for class. Learn all the techniques in this book. No garment will be sewn. The end result of this class is to build a sample library for future reference. Students must already know how to sew as this class will build skills to a more professional level.
Wednesday at 10 am or 6:30 pm

Open Sewing/It’s Sew U Club- Thursday evening is reserved for those that would like to use the classroom space and/or machines. Minimal  instruction. Come socialize and meet others that sew. $5 fee.

Teen Connection –  This is not your grandmother’s sewing! Each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday after school. $30/month. Instructions and help geared to the teen. Home Schoolers welcome.

The Double Green Shopping Bag – bring 2 pair of jeans and make this bag. Pattern purchase required. 3 hrs, hand-on. $20/instruction  COMING SOON.
